Galerie Mourlot is a contemporary art gallery which opened in October with much success. Galerie Mourlot’s expansion to LA (the flagship gallery is in NYC) allows them to bring their art expertise, experienced eye and our talented group of artists to the West Coast. Eric Mourlot, the founder, has a truly amazing family heritage in the arts that begins in Paris in 1852 when his ancestors opened a lithographic print making studio. Eric’s grandfather, Fernand Mourlot, was a pioneer & visionary when he began to inspire such artists as Pablo Picasso, Henri Matisse, Joan Miro, Marc Chagall, and many others, to use lithography as a fine art medium.

Founded in 1979, MOCA is the only museum in Los Angeles devoted exclusively to contemporary art. It is committed to the collection, presentation, and interpretation of work produced since 1940 in all media, and to preserving that work for future generations.
