Crown Bar

West Hollywood, CA 90046
Phone: 323-882-6774
Formerly the Tempest Bar, this latest offering from the same team behind the still-hot Winston's (including actor Andy Fiscella, GQ editor Chris Huvane, Charlie Lew and
Matt Lavin) is sure to impress even the most jaded scenester this
spring (Crown Bar opened April 30 to a select crowd courtesy of the
Alliance). The bar is, well, regal with several banquettes lining the
walls (next to padded walls with textured wallpaper),
strategically-placed chandeliers everywhere, white marble-topped wood
tables, studded ottomans, distressed mirrors and a large,
octagon-shaped bar at the center of the new destination.

Foxtail
9077 Santa Monica Blvd.
West Hollywood, CA 90069
Phone: 310.859.8369
Sure, Foxtail is a real looker, with its art deco, art nouveau, Biba-esque decor. But it’s not just another pretty face; it’s SBE’s Sam Nazarian and Brent Bolthouse’s new supper club.
Sip post-work Uva Bellas (green grapes with gin, St.-Germain, lemon juice, and orange bitters) or Poisoned Roses (vodka, Lillet Rouge, organic cider, rose, and citrus) at the bar or drape your dolled-up self on long banquettes at geometric marble tables in the lounge.
Reserve a seat in the luxe dining room (custom-cast, plaster wall friezes; dark wood accents; mirror-tiled ceilings) for oysters, caviar, and French bistro fare: onion soup gratinee, seared tuna nicoise, lamb ragout, croque monsieur, steak frites with fried egg and black truffle, and sweets like lavender pot de creme.
Enjoy the swank dance floor upstairs or chill in the cozy enclosed patio where you can take five by the fireplace.

Guy's
8713 Beverly Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA 90048
Phone: 310.360.0290
This cozy club appeals to the likes of Madonna, Denzel Washington and Prince. Although it's available to rent for the 'common folk,' it's mostly reserved for private entertainment industry-related events, such as celebrity birthdays and record release or movie wrap parties. The simple, living room-like interior consists of nothing more than a hodgepodge of cushy couches and an accessible bar. The fenced in outdoor patio in back features another bar and has the look and feel of an upscale backyard keg party. DJs spin a medley of Jay-Z and Usher to the Go-Go's. The draconian door policy is a bit more relaxed on promoter-run Saturday nights, as long as patrons possess the killer B's: bold, beautiful and are with babes.
