WORLD’S LARGEST HALLOWEEN STREET PARTY RETURNS TO WEST HOLLYWOOD FOR 22ND YEAR
Like
zombies in a horror film, nearly half a million people will descend on Santa
Monica Blvd. on October 31, 2009, for the 22nd annual West Hollywood
Costume Carnaval. From the outrageous to the outright frightful, West
Hollywood’s Halloween revelers comprise the largest Halloween celebration in
the world. To make room for the arrival of the undead, Santa Monica Blvd. will
be closed between Doheny Dr. and La Cienega Blvd. The event begins at 6 p.m.
and rolls into the dead of night.
Halloween
falls on a Saturday this year, making this the perfect time to stay the weekend
and experience the sights and frights of West Hollywood and the surrounding
neighborhoods. Here are a few of the many things going on Halloween weekend:

pets must be in good health, retrained by leashes (or other means) and
