The design is inspired by a combination of cosmopolitan British elegance and laid-back California cool. European luxury meets bright, airy and cool L.A. vibes. There’s a simple but chic modern look and a familiar, comfortable feel.

Each of the 226 stylish suites boasts spacious, open floor plans starting at 725 sq. ft. with elegantly appointed interiors inspired by the landscape of our locale. Cool sage accents and neutral tones blend harmoniously with luxe natural materials, bold metallic finishes, and eye-catching accent pieces, giving the suites a distinct and delightful personality that invites rest and rejuvenation. Each suite offers a private balcony and oversize bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower and deep soaking bathtub.

Fun Facts

The lobby was inspired by David Collins’ (hotel interior designer) passion for jewelry, like the hanging mirrors inspired by Cartier watches. The signature scent in the public areas is called “Iconic Glamour” and includes notes of bergamot leaf, peach skin, white gardenia, orange flower and blond woods. Behind the desk is a one-of-a-kind wall tapestry inspired by star maps with vintage Hollywood landmarks from Malibu to DTLA — the gold star representing LWH at the center of it all! Original cast-bronze gates by L.A. artist Charles Fine mark the entrance to the Porte Cochere. The gate design is inspired by the lead tracery in stained glass in Gothic churches throughout England.
