Tour Hollywood with Bikes and Hikes LA

A guided e-bike tour with Bikes and Hikes LA is a great way to explore the city while getting a workout. Options include the three-hour Hollywood Bike Tour, featuring stops at movie studios, the Hollywood Walk of Fame and other famous landmarks; and the Beverly Hills Tour, which takes bikers on a 12-mile trek from downtown West Hollywood to Beverly Hills, visiting movie locations, celebrity homes and the luxury boutiques of Rodeo Drive. You can also book the private West Hollywood Tour to customize your itinerary.

Picnic at West Hollywood Park

Grab lunch to-go from Strings of Life (S.O.L.), an Aussie-inspired all-day cafe. Try the Tansana Bowl, with steamed rice, black beans and an array of veggies, or the St Nic, a shaved-turkey sammie with arugula, avocado, semi-dried tomato and mostardi cranberry. Then, take a 10-minute walk to West Hollywood Park and enjoy your lunch at their grassy picnic area.

Explore the Design District

Fuel your creativity by strolling the mural-lined streets of West Hollywood’s Design District. View exhibits by trailblazing artists at Leica Gallery or Hauser + Wirth, one of the world’s premier contemporary art galleries. Get inspired by the latest in interior design at Martyn Lawrence Bullard, or pick up a souvenir you’ll treasure forever at Minotti or MASS Beverly — both owned by West Hollywood creator Mary Ta

Dinner at Gracias Madre

A wellness weekend in West Hollywood isn’t complete without sampling the vegan Mexican cuisine at Gracias Madre. Their menu is filled with from-scratch fare made with local and organic ingredients, like the Ranchero Bowl, which is piled high with roasted-garlic oyster mushrooms, spinach, rice, pasilla beans, lemon cauliflower and chimichurri. Top it off with a signature cocktail or mocktail, such as the Norista, featuring spirit-free tequila, lime, agave and orange oil.

Catch a Show at The Comedy Store

They say laughter is medicine, right? Uber or taxi over to The Comedy Store for a night that will send your dopamine through the roof. The legendary club hosts local, regional and headlining comedians from around the country.

Day 2: Self-Care Saturday

Clockwise from top left: Rumble, Pura Vita, Remedy Place

Work Up a Sweat

West Hollywood is home to several of LA’s buzziest gyms. With flashy lights, booming music and impressive trainers, you’re guaranteed to torch some calories while having the time of your life during a 45-minute kickboxing class at Rumble. For something a little more low-key, try a class at Hot Pilates. Each class is heated to 95 degrees and includes the perfect blend of mat work, resistance bands and weights.

Breakfast at Dialog Cafe

By now you’re sure to have worked up an appetite. Refuel your body with breakfast at Dialog Café. Choose from protein smoothies, egg-white scrambles and avocado toast while sipping on a lavender latte or shaken strawberry oat matcha.

Recover at Remedy Place

Spend the rest of your morning being treated like a celebrity at Remedy Place — literally, Drake and Kim Kardashian swear by their cutting-edge treatments. Reduce post-workout muscle damage and soreness with a Breathwork Ice Bath Class, which combines guided breathing and six-minute plunges in icy-cold water. Follow that with an hour in the infrared sauna to detox your body, soothe your muscles and accelerate your metabolism.

Lunch at 1 Kitchen

Located inside the inimitable 1 Hotel West Hollywood, 1 Kitchen takes garden-to-table to a whole new level. Culinary Director Ginger Pierce works with local purveyors to craft farm-fresh dishes that will have you glowing from the inside out. For lunch, you can’t go wrong with the housemade chickpea burger in a spinach-herb wrap, topped with spicy tahini. If you’re craving something light and refreshing, order the superfood salad with a glass of cold-pressed juice.

Get a Facial at Bamford Wellness Spa

Bamford Wellness Spa at 1 Hotel is often described as an “urban oasis,” and we couldn’t agree more. The spa menu offers a wide variety of treatments, from whole-body massages and soundwave power naps to infrared crystal therapy — but a facial will prepare you for a night out on the Sunset Strip. Get “photo-ready” with a 50-minute Cryo T-Shock facial, which will instantly have your skin feeling firmer and more sculpted.

Dinner at Pura Vita

Chef and longtime vegan Tara Punzone shares her passion for healthy Italian cuisine at Pura Vita, one of West Hollywood’s most raved-about restaurants. Start with grilled citrus herb tofu before savoring lasagna made with cashew ricotta, spinach and mushrooms, or margherita pizza topped with cashew mozzarella and macadamia parmigiano — all best enjoyed with a glass of sustainable wine.

Bar-Hopping on the Strip

Sometimes the best cure for stress is to shake it loose. Since the Roaring ’20s, the Sunset Strip has been a mainstay of the LA nightlife scene. Catch a concert at Whisky a Go Go or the Roxy Theatre, whose stages have hosted the likes of AC/DC, Prince, David Bowie and Led Zeppelin. Vibe to live DJs and sip on fancy cocktails at Skybar, the rooftop lounge at the Mondrian Los Angeles. Dance the night away at the Strip’s hottest new nightclub, Keys. End the evening with a nightcap at Bar Next Door, recently named one of Esquire’s best bars in America.

Day 3: Sunday Reset

Morning Hangover Cure at Pendry West Hollywood

If you find yourself dragging after a late night out, Pendry West Hollywood has everything you need to kick that hangover to the curb. Head up to the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, Merois, for a detoxifying green juice, an egg-white quesadilla and a coconut-strawberry yogurt parfait. After breakfast, check out Spa Pendry’s Hangover IV Therapy, filled with vitamins B12 and C as well as anti-nausea and anti-inflammatory fluids.

Hike at Runyon Canyon Park

As the saying goes, “fresh air will do you good.” Continue your morning at Runyon Canyon Park, one of the top hiking areas in Los Angeles, a 10-minute drive from West Hollywood. The park has trails of varying difficulty, such as the East Ridge Trail — a 1.8-mile out-and-back that features two scenic overlooks with panoramic views of downtown LA and the Santa Monica Mountains.

Sunday Brunch on Melrose Avenue

On Melrose, you’ll find several restaurants specializing in brunch staples with a healthy twist. The Butcher’s Daughter serves vegan-friendly bites like smoothie bowls, buckwheat pancakes and savory mushroom toast. Great White’s salmon mezze, chickpea scramble and blue-algae smoothie bowl are not to be missed. And at nearby Zinqué, the quinoa breakfast burritos, smoked-salmon toast, and leek and gruyére quiche steal the show.

Midday Massage at Ole Henriksen

If you fancy yourself a skincare aficionado, the name Ole Henriksen should ring a bell. Even if it doesn’t, you’ve probably seen Kris Jenner visit this Sunset Plaza spa a time or two on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” While best known for his skincare line, Henriksen’s flagship spa is one of the top places to get a massage in West Hollywood.
